HP Barcelona (Spain) is looking for candidates for the open position of

Operations Specialist (Dutch speaker)

The Operations Specialist works in a European, multicultural and multilingual business environment. He/she works as a first point of contact for HP channel distributors and is responsible for managing order-to-delivery and invoice related processes. Key tasks exist of analyzing and resolving issues related to order management, physical returns, special discounts, invoicing, logistics etc. The Operations specialist is in daily contact with the distributors and is working closely together with the HP transaction processing centre in India and other internal teams such as sales support, process engineering, finance, supply chain and logistics.

The Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operational Support

• Manage the relationship with the distributors by providing daily operational support via telephone and e-mail.

• Act as one contact towards the distributors for all issues End-to-End; communicating all relevant information and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Provide training and information on HP processes and tools to distributors as needed

• Analyze operational data, identify root causes of repetitive issues and drive corrective actions

• Deal with all written or verbal escalations (inquiries, complaints, etc) from the distributors and provide solutions when problems arise

Transaction Processing Center Support

• Manage the daily interaction with the Transaction Processing Center in India,

• Find solutions to queries and issues and provide coaching and training as needed

• Ensure that agreed operations performance service levels are achieved

Order, financial & physical claim Management

• Pro-active monitoring of open orders & claims, using different tools and reports avoid escalations

• Provide continuous visibility of the orders and claims situation to partners and HP business units through high quality communications

Controlling & Quality:

• Ensure that HP internal policies, legal regulations and audit requirements are met and maintained

Profile and Job Requirements:

• Dutch (native) and fluent English in speaking and writing.

• 3 or 4yrs Bachelor degree (preferably in Business Administration, Economics or similar).

• At least 2 years of work experience in a customer facing environment

• Strong customer service and problem solving mentality.

• Excellent communication, conflict handling and team working skills

• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability and willingness to work in a very diverse and dynamic environment.

• PC and Microsoft Office tools knowledge, excellent Excel and Power point skills

• Basic to advanced German language skills are an advantage
